Dining at the Dead Dog Saloon in Murrells Inlet

Creek views from the Dead Dog

When it comes to soaking in the beauty of Murrells Inlet there is no better place than on the outside deck at the Dead Dog Saloon on the Marshwalk.  The atmosphere is alive with all the true locals where you can watch these inlet creatures in all their splendor and is the perfect place to go with the flow.

Not only can you get close to nature at the Dead Dog you can also enjoy a cold beverage and hear some great live music every night of the week.  The Dead Dog has certainly made a name for itself with a menu sure to please any taste from burgers to seafood and an eclectic mix of appetizers and seafood favorites including awesome shrimp & grits and a special deli menu served til 4:00 pm daily.

Fast and friendly is the order of the day at the Dead Dog since they docked on the Marshwalk in 2002 the Dead Dog continues to contribute to the community and in that tradition will be host to the 10th annual 911 Benefit “Honoring America’s Heros” on September 11.   This promises to be another great event to benefit local police and fire departments with live music starting at 11:00 am.   If you’ve never stopped by this is a place you don’t want to miss. Copyright©2011 Sandra Bundy, Broker-in-Charge, B&P, Inc.  Serving the Pee Dee and Grand Strand of South Carolina.
